Blowtex -Adiabatic coolers

Everybody can state the natural cooling effect on the ground, after the rain.

When water evaporates, a large amount of heat is subtracted either to air and ground. This amount of heat exchanged while changing the fluid state ,it is normally called latent heat.

This natural phenomenon can be easily & artificially reproduced by using Blowtex adiabatic coolers, where by mean the use of a Fan; air is forced to flow across a wet panel, before entering the room, becoming reach of water and so ; reducing the own temperature.

Each Kg of water passing from liquid to gas (steam) subtract approx 600 Kcal/h (600 x 1,16 = 696 watts).

  • This cooling method is rather inexpensive in comparison with traditional mechanical refrigerating methods but it has also some limits. The first limit is the humidity of external air.

If your external air is already full of water, irrespective of your effort , you will not able to let evaporate water in the air.

  • Another third limit is a very skill dimensioning, that includes a very good acknowledgment of the Mollier diagram .

This is due to the fact air is like a sponge able to contain water only in a certain percentage.

When the sponge (air)  is full of water already, the evaporating process cannot be activate, because there is no enough room for increasing the water content in the air.

  • The second limit is that you cannot re-circulate air inside your room, because air contained in your room will be over saturated very rapidly...so the renewal of external air must be continuous, addicted to a very good pre-filtration effect.

Blowtex adiabatic coolers are suitable for many industrial applications, show rooms, sport's halls, greenhouses, tents , and bakeries or all the places where very large internal loads as Owens, are addicted to very large external loads; while sun shining in spring and winter seasons.

Particularly in industrial bakeries; an increased level of hygrometric contains inside the buildings ; helps in making more heavy dust's mills, in such a way they cannot fly and reach the respiratory tract.

When associated to Blowtex low impulse systems, all the advantage of laminar cross flows and displacement ventilation can be so achieved.

By using displacement ventilation you will also avoid to dehydrate bread, very sensitive to air currents draught.

Blowtex Adiabatic Coolers are available in two versions :

V = Wall mounted : upper vertical outflow direction

T=Roof mounted :

downside vertical outflow direction

Both versions available in double cooling capacities:

 12.000 & 18.000 mc/h

Available a third version mounted on wheels; cooling capacity 4.500 mc/h

Upper vertical outflow direction.
